Hairy Honeysuckle, Rough Woodbine
Very vigorous deciduous climber. Leaves hairy beneath.
The flowers are bright yellow, in a dense cluster followed by orange-red berries.
Native of north-eastern of North America.
It prefer dry or moist soils, attracts lots of hummingbirds. It is very hardy and drought tolerant. Although very hardy, rarely seen in European gardens, but needs more attention.
It is one of the parents of L. ×brownii.
