Lonicera reticulata ‘Silver’

(Rune Bengtsson, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Alnarp, Zweden, 1998)

Lonicera reticulata 'Silver'This is a great honeysuckle vine with pale blue-green leaves and pale yellow flowers, but what makes this a standout is the unique flower bracts that make the whole vine look like, as the propagator described it, “A galaxy of full moons”! Waxy-white leaf undersides contribute to the plant’s ornamental quality. The red fruit is great for floral arrangements.
